I'm really looking forward to more days like this. The days when birds tweet in the trees, and the sun makes the city a prettier, more cheerful place. The warmth, the light and the hard shadows. It's something to really enjoy.

Time for a walk
Oslo is a city both with people constantly on the move, and people who take the time for a stroll. Today, I took a break from my illustration work to go for a walk/bicycle ride. And oh – the colours we soon will be seeing! I'm so absolutely looking forward to all the trees turning green, pink and yellow. Sometimes, I like to go where there are lots of other people, but today I ended up walking the more empty side streets.

Capturing Everyday Life
I've gotten a new camera to carry around. This one is a compact system camera, and it will fit into any of my bags – or even the pocket in my jacket. A lot easier than my DSLR! So I'm now prepared for everyday photography with a proper camera in stead of my phonecamera.

A Workspace of Mind
There's a difference between my physical workspace and my mental workspace. But they are deeply connected.
I can never enter my mental workspace if my physical workspace is a mess with things I don't need around me. If I'm inspired to work on something right away, I may leave the house for a café or another public place instead of working in my messy workspace at home.
But it can be a good mess too, an energetic one. And having a neat and clean desk won't always help me to enter that mental workspace, either.

Morning's Dim Light
Waking up early is one of my favorite things to do. I can brew myself a nice cup of tea, and sit down to write something. I can make a drawing or painting before breakfast, or I can go for a walk. When the summer comes, I'm going to go for a run in the morning.
However, I find it difficult to wake up so early when I'm home from work at 1 am and the mornings are dark. I live in Norway, where there is hardly any sunlight hours in the winter. Now that the morning light has returned, I feel like a much healthier and happier person. I want to create so many things! Like this blog, for example.
Now, I'm going to brew that cup of tea.
